I. Participation
Requirements
1. Candidates, regardless
of age and nationality, can apply for the competition.
2. The competition will
be held in two categories:

Category A:

Chamber, vocal and instrumental composition for up to 4 performers. Duration: up to 20 minutes.

Category B:

Cyclic composition for a clavier instrument (piano, organ, harpsichord or accordion). Duration up to 20 minutes.
3. Each candidate is allowed to submit a maximum of two compositions in one category, or one
composition for each category.
4. The candidates should send all of the materials listed below, wrapped together in a single
package, no later then 31 October 2022 (the date of the postmark is taken into consideration):

a) The competition composition(s) and, if possible, a CD-recording
of the composition(s) (demo-versions), sealed in an envelope.

b) A sheet of paper with the name of the candidate, placed inside
a sealed, non-transparent envelope.

c) The completed application form (given below) and a document, certifying
the completed payment of the registration fee of 50 ˆ, both placed
inside a sealed envelope. The registration fee should be paid to the
bank account of the Foundation

5. The competition is anonymous.
No markings or other
indications that may identify the participant and thus break the rules
of anonymity are allowed on the music scores.

The Executive
committee is free of the obligation of returning the materials, submitted
by the candidates.
The
participation fee is non-refundable, in case the candidate withdraws his participatiom
from the competition.
II. The Jury:
1.
The submitted compositions are evaluated by a Jury of outstanding
Bulgarian composers.
2.
The Jury strictly adheres to the regulations, sanctioned by the Executive
Committee.
3.
The Jury has the right not to award all of the listed prizes.
4.
The decisios of the Jury are final and are not subject to appeal.
III. Prizes:
1.
The prizes for each of the categories are:

First prize: 500 ˆ

Second prize: 350 ˆ

Third prize: 200 ˆ

The Special Prize of the Municipality Council
of Pazardzhik
2.
Some other prizes (of foundations, private persons etc.) can be awarded
by
the
decision of the Jury.
3. The Executive Committee assists for the award-winning works with the special award of the Municipality of Pazardzhik to be included in the concert poster of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts "Prof. Asen Diamandiev", season 2022-2023.
